Topic: Using MDB Vue Pro Plugins with Tailwind Elements
THIAGO ALBERTO pro premium priority asked 3 years ago
Hello everybody, I have MDB Vue pro but I honestly don't like bootstrap, I prefer tailwindcss infinitely. And as you guys made the tailwind elements I'm using it instead of bootstrap. But I would like to know if it is possible for me to use the plugins in this integration, I am using Vite with Vue3 and tailwindcss3 with tailwind elements, but I would like to use the plugins like paralax, tables, dates, calendars, the plugins you have for Vue. I find Tailwindcss much more productive, simple and powerful than bootstrap but the problem is the javascript part, very likely that I will be using tailwind elements and not MDB Vue. It would be really nice to have the functionality for tailwind.
If I can use the plugins, how can I be doing this?

Hello @THIAGO ALBERTO,
Each Vue plugin requires importing js script and optionally css stylesheet to work. Some of them will work without MDB UI KIT, but in most cases it is necessary to import at least our UI KIT css stylesheet in the project (you will see after making simple basic examples). In general, using Tailwind and Bootstrap is possible, however there could be some problems with class names that may clash.
Unfortunately, there are no guides for such integration, but it's definitely worth a try.
Keep coding, Mikołaj from MDB
