autocomplete close method is not working in functions by using refs

Hi! I cannot access the snippet so im not sure if my snippet will help you.
I created a simple autocomplete input and added a button that will close the autocomplete popper. To make the popper stay after clicking outside I added keepOpen prop to the MDBAutocomplete component. You can find the snippet here:
