Thanks for reporting. We will consider it. At this point, you can add your own styles that will suit you in your project, e.g. setting the blur as you suggested:
.btn-check:not(:checked)+.btn {
filter: blur(1px);
}
I'm no designer, so I'll leave it to you to find a good solution. Maybe bluring the unselected buttons?
