Topic: [Suggestion] New Navbar Advanced Example
Andrew Ford pro premium priority asked 3 years ago
There was a popular navbar 'library' years ago (does not look like it is maintained anymore) that was popular on websites called "RD Navbar". In the one site I used it on, I felt like they over-did it with the markup.
In summary of RD Navbar, it would be a standard / sticky navbar, if you are on mobile it would automatically build a side nav without double the coding.
I would love to be able to replicate it using MDBootstrap.

Hello, there is one demo of MDB Sidenav which I hope covers responsiveness of given sidenav without doubling the code. It gives response upon resize - under certain width it should toggle. I would love to hear your feedback on how much this approach covers your expectations.

I already knew about that. I am saying the developer would make the 'sticky' navbar (which would default on large screens), https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/standard/navigation/navbar/#section-placement Then when someone is viewing the website on small screens, the navbar automatically converts to the side nav.

Thank you for this suggestion, I will put this on our ideas list.

Hi, there is another important point... RD Navbar can have a sub sub menu in the sidebar/sidenav. Unfortunately that is not possible in MDB Sidenavs :(
