Expected behavior
Selects fire close.mdb.select as the documentation states when a Select is closed.
Actual behavior
Selects fire close.mdb.select erratically - even Selects you didn't interact with fire the event.

Open https://mdbootstrap.com/snippets/standard/kayem79/3153378, open the console and start opening and closing Selects. Lots of events are fired even for Selects you didn't even touch.

This is still a problem after so much time. The close.mdb.select event is unusable and doesn't work as documented.

Hi. Sorry for this inconvenience. Meanwhile we had more important bugs to fix. Also this issue was more time consuming than we expected. We will try to fix this in the next release.
