To use SASS you can just write your custom SASS code in this file in your MDB-UI-KIT /src/mdb/scss/custom/_styles.scss and then compile following this instructions https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/standard/getting-started/webpack-starter/#section-custom-version-of-mdb-ui-kit.
