Is there a way to prevent datatable pagination from reloading the page. Each time you click next it reloads the page.

Hi. Can you provide some code/example? Maybe prepare a snippet with this issue https://mdbootstrap.com/snippets/? You can try grabbing datatable-pagination-left and datatable-pagination-right and use e.preventDefault().
