MDBReact app doesn't work on GCP app engine

Topic: MDBReact app doesn't work on GCP app engine

aarelaponin asked 5 years ago

Expected behavior I deployed react app to GCP app engine and for some reason it doesn't work. Without MDB sample react app after same deployment is working. Also, when I downloaded docker image from GCP to my local computer - it works. That means that build is OK.

Actual behavior after deployment to GCP app engine my react MDB app doesn't work

Resources (screenshots, code snippets etc.) docker image from GCP app engine locally works well

By any chance, do you have an idea, what can be a reason?

Can it be the reason that I have to add the private token to the configuration? (as I am using PRO version of the MDB React) if yes, then how should I add the token?

Hi @Konsa, can you explain more your problem? Or make new support post.

Hi @aarelaponin,

We haven't tested our MDBreact with the GCP app engine yet.

Could you also test your MDBreact token on the new CRA application?

In this way, we except issues with bad imports styles and your token.

Please tell me if this problem still exists. If you have a problem yet I will try to test GCP with MDBreact.

Best regards, Konrad.

Hi, I am not sure what do you mean by CRA application. Anyway, I created new react free MDB application - this works well on GCP. Then I generated new token and created new react PRO application - after deployment to GCP I receive 502 server error from GCP (on local machine all is fine). So, please, advise how can I get the PRO version up and running (I am using date and time pickers, which are available only in the PRO version).

with kind regards, Aare

Hi again, I made the whole cycle again: created new project in GCP, new PRO react app with newly generated token and now it works well on GCP. The difference might be that package.json name is in line with the name which I used when generated the token. Anyhow, the case can be closed, the thing is working. regards Aare

Good job!

I will close this support. I am happy that the problem has been resolved.
