Hey Mikolaj, Thank you for your response. The main point of my question is that I will not be using React to render a complete page. The page will be a combination of React components and HTML from the server. I want to be able to use MDBootstrap in places where I am not using React while also using the MDB React components where necessary. Is this possible? Thanks, -bMikołaj Smoleński staff commented 6 years ago
Hey, You can't use React components like this. I suggest to use MDB jQuery to combine different technologies. Best Regardstechroller pro commented 6 years ago
Hi Mikolaj, I've been doing some experimentation with the free versions of MDBootstrap and MDB React and I have successfully combined both :-). I am using Webpack and I'm using the bootstrap and mdbootstrap NPM packages but I am using a local copy of the free MDB React code. I will most likely upgrade to the pro version of MDBootstrap and wait a bit before I upgrade to MDB React pro. The point of this message is to let you know it's possible to integrate the two frameworks if you want to partially render your UI on the server and sprinkle React components throughout the app. Also, on a different note, I am not able to access this website without first connecting to my company's VPN in London. I'll do a bit more checking but I figured I'd let you know that I have seen a lot of issues when trying to access this site. I'm in Pacific Northwest in the US. Cheers! -bMikołaj Smoleński staff commented 6 years ago
