Topic: Important: Creating own Skins (React and Angular)
xzesstence pro asked 5 years ago
How can I create my own skin?
I found this tutorial:https://mdbootstrap.com/education/bootstrap/custom-skin/
But after i asked for the MDB Gulp Package, the staff person answered:
The gulp package is included only in the jQuery version. By checking your email address, I found that you have orders for Angular and React in which this package is not needed. If you need to explain the functionality you want to achieve with the gulp, please contact our technical support team, here: https://mdbootstrap.com/support/
*So please tell us all exactly how we create Skins!*As a commercial seller, you should provide us with more documentation! There are still many documentation holes, much better than 1 year ago, but still not ok
If you have answered this question (i have premium support) you can add it to the skins section here for all users https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/react/css/skins/
Thanks! Since my timeline becomes thin, im looking forward to a quick response!
Edit: Still no answer as a pro user?? With active premium support ???? So you do not underline the meaning and purpose of the premium support your product range and prospective customers like customers rightly ask for what premium support? Is this topic such a miracle??

Hi,
We apologize for the late reply.
Sometimes It's difficult to understand what documentation should be improved or created. We rely on our community which can point out what exactly can be improved(created).
You have access to our SCSS/CSS
files(mdbreact/scss/_custom_skin.scss
), where you can describe your own styles for skins. Forwarding the tutorial you can create your own skin by changing _custom_skin.scss
file. After finish the skin creation it's enough to run npm run sass-compile / yarn sass-compile
to compile your scss
file to css
.
You can look through skins.scss
file to understand of how it works inside(if you want).
Forwarding the tutorial you can create your own skin by changing _custom_skin.scss
file.
Best regards.
