Change steps of Stepper in React

Topic: Change steps of Stepper in React

it is possible to manually change the step

It's not possible in Basic example. I tried to do it through defaultstep, substituting the current state of the step into the value, but this does not work

Resources (screenshots, code snippets etc.)

At the moment, it's not possible, because defaultStep sets active step only on first render. That's not the most 'reactive' way of state management, so we will change it soon, probably in the nearest release.

Got it, thanks. Where can I find the latest update information?

There is a changelog: https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/react/getting-started/changelog/

any update on this? I too would like this.

It is very likely that we will fix this in the next release.
