$post_thumbnail_url;
:
$post_thumbnail_id = get_post_thumbnail_id(); $post_thumbnail_url = wp_get_attachment_url( $post_thumbnail_id );?> <div class=”card card-image img-fluid z-depth-2” style=”background-image: url(“<?php echo $post_thumbnail_url ?>”); “>2. create your own post image size:
add_image_size(
'custom-size'
, 220, 180 );
<?php the_post_thumbnail( ‘full’, array( ‘class’=> ‘img-fluid z-depth-2’)); ?>That should solve your problem. FYI
the_post_thumbnail( ‘full’, array( ‘class’=> ‘img-fluid z-depth-2’))
returns already constructed <src>
object.
So if you var_dump(the_post_thumbnail( ‘full’, array( ‘class’=> ‘img-fluid z-depth-2’)))
, it shall return you this:
<img src="..." class="alignleft wp-post-image" ...>
