Angular 9 mdInput error

Topic: Angular 9 mdInput error

paolo.casciello pro asked 5 years ago

Using latest (also dev branch) with latest release of Angular (9) we got a lot of errors on mdInput components. They stopped working.

Expected behavior No errors in console

Actual behavior Repeated errors like:

TypeError: Cannot read property 'querySelector' of undefined
    at MdbInputDirective.initComponent (vendor.js:150696)
    at MdbInputDirective.ngAfterViewChecked (vendor.js:150655)
    at callHook (vendor.js:22802)
    at callHooks (vendor.js:22762)
    at executeInitAndCheckHooks (vendor.js:22703)

We reverted but I post this just to track the evolution of this issue :) Keep up the good work! :)

mmm no it seems it still happens with angular 8 after upgrading to ng-uikit-pro-standard@8.9.0

Any clues?

Sorry it was an old issue ( here https://mdbootstrap.com/support/angular/angular-8-2-mdb-8-6-forms-error/ ) we got stumbled after recreating the node_modules with latest mdb. :(

It's fixed using the correct mdbInput directive.
