Which elements are most often changed in MDB? I want to know

Topic: Which elements are most often changed in MDB? I want to know to what extent the main skeleton of the project will be safe from unplanned changes.

Expected behavior I expect that the main page skeleton, i.e. layout, grid classes arranging elements on the page and other elements on which the frame of the whole site is based, will not change in new MDB releases. Unless only in colors. I expect that no changes will come in MDB that will make me have to rebuild my projects to keep the basic skeleton of the site in the state in which I created it.

Actual behavior I don't know what changes occur most frequently in MDB releases and how they affect the overall design of projects, pages or applications. In other words: before I invest in your product, what changes can I expect in future updates and how will they affect my projects? I know you can't give me accurate information because you don't have it, and you probably would like to know it too. But I do not mean predicting the future, but how safe my projects will be against large and unexpected changes in their structure. Changing the colors or appearance of the page is in my opinion not something that can be called a problem, but overlapping elements that prevent reading the content of the page because the class names have changed or their properties are a completely different matter. When you need to rebuild one page or one project you worked on, it's not a big deal, but what if you have more and all of them start behaving in an unpredictable way? Without a good reason, you wouldn't recommend your clients to test the latest MDB updates in a test environment.

If you give me a relatively comprehensive answer to this question, "what problems do customers most often encounter after the release of the latest update," I will know what to expect. And knowing what to expect, I will know how safe my projects will be against unplanned and unwanted changes. And thanks to this I will be able to determine to what extent changes in MDB files are acceptable to me. And this will allow me to assess whether it is worth investing in your product. There are no perfect products, as evidenced by their updates. This means that I do not expect reliable operation of MDB, especially after the release of the update. I only expect that these will not be radical changes or ones that will put the security of my projects at risk, and that their main structure will not change suddenly.

Patiently waiting for an answer I wish you pleasant coding, because work should be a pleasure.

Hi. We are trying to keep this forum understandable for customers around the world so that they can find the answer to a similar question without having to write a new thread. That is why official communication takes place in English. Let me write you back in English. and please write for the future in English.

When we're planning changes in the code we make sure to maintain backward compatibility. We make sure that customers don't have to rebuild their website after upgrading to the new version. Most problems occur when our styles conflict with custom styles. But we can't predict this.

If we make changes that will require rebuilding the design, we first provide the new version of the component. At the same time, we keep the old version long enough for users to have time to update the component in their design. So for some time we provide a new and deprecated version of the component.

The most frequently changes are small bug fixes and new functionalities that do not affect the appearance of the project.

Thank you for your response.

Your opinion about writing in English is justified. I can adapt, so I changed the title and content of my question to this language. And in the future I will ask questions in English if I want to ask something. Your answer to my question explains the logic of the company you work for. I believe that this is a logical, concrete and sensible approach. You gave me an accurate and comprehensive answer that dispelled all my doubts. I have no more questions about this. Thank you.

Best regards, Andurilion
