Topic: TimePicker initialisation
purchase@cebicon.de asked 4 years ago
Guys, your documentation is a mess. I just lost one hour or more to find out that the (new) Timepicker has to be initialized by a JS call $(...).timepicker()
Where on earth am I supposed to find this information?
I'm just migrating a web application from KendoUI to MDB, but I do not know yet if this is a really good idea...

Hi. The new TimePicker does not require js initialization. It is initialized automatically.
Exonto commented 4 years ago
I just ran into this problem as well, and calling .timepicker manually fixed this. I'm unsure what the cause might be, but there seems to be a scenario where it either does not find or does not attempt to initialize timepickers.

Hi. @Exonto The new Timepicker should initialize by itself without any problems. Please create a snippet with a code that didn't work for you without initialization. I will look at this.

Hi. If there is no initialization in timepicker. Could you provide an example in order to set a callback, for example for option afterDone?? Thanks
Grzegorz Bujański staff commented 4 years ago
Unfortunately the callbacks are not working at the moment. We are sorry for that. We'll fix it.

-Does it mean that there is no way to know when a time has been selected in the popup? How can I know that such event has occurred? -If I initialize the timepicker (I cannot reproduce the problem outside my working environment, but I need to do it as previous users commented before), would the callbacks work? In that case, would you please show an example? Thanks

As I said above - unfortunately, the callbacks are not working at the moment. Therefore, I am not able to show you a working example. We will fix it as soon as possible.
