I'm seeing the same: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bpd1c1czn3vg2wr/Screenshot%202018-02-21%2014.33.07.png?dl=0 This is on the double-fixed demo: https://mdbootstrap.com/previews/docs/latest/html/navigation/side-nav-fixed-navbar-fixed.html You can see my width is 1440, but I'm not getting the sidenav fixed.

It should open when width is more than 1440, try to open demo page on the wider screen.
