Topic: Reset Multi-Select loses Save Button
Tina Meadors pro asked 5 years ago
*_Expected behavior_* When I destroy and reinitialize an mdb multi-select, the Save button should remain. I also expected that destroying and reinitializing the select would clear any currently selected options (which is actually what I was trying to do).
*_Actual behavior_* When the select is destroyed and reinitialized, the SAVE button inside the select dropdown disappears and selected items remain selected (unless I reset the value to null with jQuery). The button also disappears if I just reset the value of the select, without destroying and reinitializing it. I'm not sure why.

Hi Tina,
This is a certain bug with our multi-select component. I already forwarded this issue to a development team taking care of this component. It will be fixed in this or the next release. Thank you for you contribution. For now, you can try to hard code your implementation using jQuery as you did earlier.
Best Regards, Piotr
