After the page is loaded, it should move the label to the top and keep the selected value on the input line, but the following happens:

Please try to add the .md-selected class to your native select

The issue was solved in the latest 4.8.7 MDB release. Please upgrade.

I have the same problema and adding .md-selected didn't work too.
