Topic: Jquery plug-in calendar not working from download example in Safari
emichaud@gmail.com asked 5 years ago
*Expected behavior*I expected the demo to work after download
*_Actual behavior_*The include html pages do not show a calendar. The full-calendar has links but none of the calendars are working in the download file structure.** Note: I tested in Chrome and it works as expected. The full MDBPro examples work perfectly in Safari, but the calendar is not working in Safari.
Any help in understanding how to get it working in Safari?
after some digging, it looks like Safari does not follow file links like "../../" very well. I moved the html pages out of a folder and changed the path and mostly its working now.
However, I am getting console log messages that it cannot load the following two files which I checked and are not included in the download.
[Error] Failed to load resource: The requested URL was not found on this server. bootstrap.min.css.map [Error] Cannot load file:/MDB-Full-Calendar_4/js/bootstrap.min.js.map
Any help in getting these two files?

Ok, so this appears to be something with Safari, local file permissions, Apple security, blah, blah, blah. Point to note is that some of the examples that you download may not work correctly from the file system. If you move them over to a dev site and try them from your dev server, they will probably work just fine. I got the calendar control working when I moved the code over to my dev server and ran it from the web server.
