Actual behavior There are some mysterious behaviours. The OnChange event fires when selecting an entry via keyboard, but the selected item is yet not in the input field, so if we validate the value, it is the search-string, not the selected item! So "change" comes a second to early, bevor the input gets the completed text. Leaving the popuped list with TAB, the list remains on the screen and the focus jumps onto the "X". (In addition, the „X“ drawn via the svg-code is „grey“ so it looks as if it was disabled. Also, if the „X“ gets the focus via TAB, there is no optical indication that it has it right now because the focus is invisible.) TABing from the X to any next control in a website, the popup list still stays on screen even when the next control gets the focus.
