How can I extend the width of class=Container?

Topic: How can I extend the width of class="Container"?

Hi, I'm trying to extend a little bit the width of the class="container" since I think the default version is kinda small. I tried with css like this: .container{ width: 1800px; } but didn't work. It lets me decrease the width but not increase it which is what i'm trying to do. Any idea on how to do this? thanks!

Hi, Have you tried
.container{ max-width:1800px !important;}

It almost works! Now the issue I have is that it doesn't work the same way on my two containers. I have two containers, one in the navbar and one after <main>. The one on the navbar extends a little more than the one in the main. Any clue on who to make them increase proportionally and have the same exact width? Thanks!
