Topic: Form Label Alignment Questions - How Do I Override?
Greg Beacher asked 6 years ago
Hello everyone,
I am putting together some forms for a PHP based site I am working on and have two questions please.
I have pasted a snippet with some sample code for question one to https://mdbootstrap.com/snippets/jquery/beacher/381939.
I have a form that contains some input fields and a select. I am using the MDB Components for both. The label for the input fields is pushed out a few pixels which means it isn't consistent with the select control (where the label is aligned to the text in the options). I had a look in the mdb.css file but couldn't find the entry to override in my own css file. Please can you point me to the correct entry?
The second question is similar to the first one but I cannot post a code snippet as it requires the WYSIWYG plug-in. There is a gap between the label and the top of the WYSIWYG control. The gap is not present if I remove the styling so that the control becomes just a textarea so it looks like it is being caused by the WYSIWYG CSS. Again, please can you tell me what value I need to override to remove this gap and make it consistent with the other controls on this page. Thanks.
I have tried viewing this page in Firefox too and have the same issues.
Kind Regards
Greg
