Roboto Font Looks Bad in IE

Topic: Roboto Font Looks Bad in IE

ijabit asked 9 years ago

When building MDB sites with the Roboto font, as loaded in the MDB files, the font looks terrible in IE. For example, look at your demo http://mdbootstrap.com/sets/e-commerce/ in IE. You'll notice small "dots" above many of the characters. It's much more obvious when you have a list of hyperlinks on a page. The problem seems to be common and articulated here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/35367810/firefox-an-ie-renders-fonts-badly-eg-roboto-font Maybe the fix is to output your font-face declarations like they do on the Google site?
