Topic: integrating MDB with an existing wordpress theme
I have an existing wordpress theme ("twentyseventeen") being used for my website and I am trying to intergrate your datatables onto one of my static webstie pages so I can pull data from an api I created.
The functionality I am trying to implement is below:

Is it possible to add the supporting libraries that need to be downloaded into an existing theme or is it only possible to integrate MDB into a new theme for wordpress. When I attempted to create a new theme following your guide below but then my website ends up not working when I switch my theme:

You can integrate MDB into existing theme. Try to copy only folders without unzip all package and add required code to functions.php
