Topic: Why is wow.js an external dependency?
ak.leimrey pro asked 6 years ago
See question. I'm wondering why WOW.js is an external dependency instead of being part of the MDB, especially since you had once mentioned you're using a slightly modified version of WOW.js? This poses an issue with many companies with less than liberal policies when it comes to access resources outside the company network. In our concrete case, we had to disable it because the application tried to get the lib which led to exceptionally long loading times. In our particular case, we didn't need the animations and simply commented the import out, but this feels rather alien to me to introduce external dependencies on the index.html when it seems mostly frowned upon to do so in the Angular development.
