Topic: Slim Nav Angular
pedrojrivera asked 6 years ago
I am trying to create a "Slim Nav" similar to this jQuery snippet.
What would be the first steps to editing the navigation functionality in this way for Angular?

Dear Pedro,
This is a tough question because we haven't got such functionality in our MDB Angular, so we don't actually know, how to modify our sidenav code.
What can I advise you? You have to modify the scss of the sidenav, and add a custom typescript code to toggle between fully visible, slim version and invisible.
This type of sidenav is in our nice-to-have features, but for now, I'm not able to provide you with ETA on it.
Best Regards,
Damian

Any update on this request?
This code snippet you have in angular doesn't seems to be working https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/angular/navigation/sidenav/#slim-sidenav

Which version of MDB Angular do you use and what are the exact problems with this code? Please note that this feature was added in 7.5.2.
