Topic: Potential bug? Input buttons change their z-index permanently when clicked
ak.leimrey pro asked 7 years ago
Basically, as the title suggests: Any input button that is clicked on receives a new z-index permanently for that session. It's not a massive issue to me, as it could be fixed fairly easily by setting a high enough z-index of my footer, but it was an odd and unexpected behaviour altogether.

Dear ak.leimrey, Could you provide me some reproduction steps or example of the problem? Best Regards, Damianak.leimrey pro commented 7 years ago
Sure thing, Damian. Image 1 Scenario: No buttons clicked; The buttons are properly positioned under the footer https://imgur.com/5UvZQRG Image 2 Scenario. The + Button was clicked. The button receives a new z-index as long as you remain on the page. https://imgur.com/gRLsybd In this case, the workaround was simple by giving the footer a high enough z-index to cover the content, but I could imagine this behaviour being a problem in other cases.Damian Gemza staff commented 7 years ago
Okey thanks for describing the problem. I'll check how to solve this in right way, and inform you. For quick workaround, please change z-index of your footer as you said. Best Regards, DamianDamian Gemza staff commented 7 years ago
Could you provide me code which I use to reproduction this case? I'm unable to reproduction it.ak.leimrey pro commented 7 years ago
I would have to send the code in private, as I'm not allowed to post much of the code here, no matter how simple and the GIT repo is set on private and I can't invite people into it.Damian Gemza staff commented 7 years ago
