Hi, try to install the latest but this error is shown to me.

npm ERR! fatal: unable to access 'http://oauth2:TOKEN@git.mdbootstrap.com/mdb/angular/ng-uikit-pro-standard.git/': SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired

@techsamsoulutions I faced the same issue today. As a workaround you can try to run this 

git config --global http.sslVerify false

I think it has to do with the mdb gitlab self signed certificate. Similar to this issue https://confluence.atlassian.com/fishkb/unable-to-clone-git-repository-due-to-self-signed-certificate-376838977.html

The certificate was renewed so you don't need a workaround anymore
