When using "horizontal forms" or "aligned forms per the example template" the label and the label text and the input text does not line up. The input text is always higher than the label creating a strange user experience. A related issue is that with any of the standard text input elements the text seems "high" i.e. it is much closer to the top placeholder text than the line below it. 

Playing around a bit with the padding makes it a bit better, but I'm looking for an easier way to fix it globally.
