MDB Angular has a autocomplete component and the basic example:
import {AfterViewInit, Component, ViewChild} from '@angular/core';
import {of} from 'rxjs';
import {MdbAutoCompleterComponent} from 'ng-uikit-pro-standard';

MdbAutoCompleter was added in 7.2.0 version of MDB Angular. Please update to the latest version and you'll be able to use it.
