mdb select label for default value

Topic: mdb select label for default value

mdb2 pro asked 6 years ago

After upgrading from 7.4.0 to 7.5.2 and adding [label] attribute to mdb-select, the label is not "activated" when the selected option value defaults to 0 (number, not string)

It used to work find when using <label class="active">TITLE</label>

Dear @mdb2

That's strange. Thanks for your report!

We'll take a deeper look at this, and we'll let you know, what's wrong there.

Best Regards,

Damian

Just want to add that

<label class="active">TITLE</label>

stopped working now. It looks as if the "active" class is programmatically removed with value is default.

Dear @mdb2

The problem with 0 value in mdb-select will be resolved with the next version of MDB Angular (10.06.2019).

We have changed the behavior of code which lift-up the label, so you cannot fix it on your own (unless you'll download our ng-uikit-pro-standard-compile repository, and use the recompiled .tgz archive instead of installation from our gitlab server).

Best Regards,

Damian
