Topic: I wish to use MDB Nav\'s bar.. But I have existing themes already
Unfortunately I did not notice MDB's theme until I purchased and made use of other themes.I have tried doing an NPM install on my project for MDB's theme but it messed up some of my styling due to css conflict. Is anyone able to advise how I can just make use of the mdb nav bar?Thank you!

Dear Alex could you describe me your problem one more time? You're using MDB Angular free and you're having problems with navbar? Please describe me your situation. Best Regards, DamianAlex Sim commented 7 years ago
Hi Damian, Yes I am using MDB Angular Free. However, I have an existing theme on my project already. When I ran NPM install for MDB on my existing project, it causes some of my styling to go hay-wire. So I was wondering if I just want to use the nav bar, is there some specific files that I can copy over without installing the entire MDB.Damian Gemza staff commented 7 years ago
Dear Alex, for now, there's no possibility to use only one specific module in your project. But you can try to copy navbars folder from angular-bootstrap-md/free and whole scss folder. But I can't provide you more specific informations cause we didn't used this way. Best Regards, DamianAlex Sim commented 7 years ago
Hi @Damian, thank you for your patient assistance. I have seek your advice and copied all the folder from scss. I have also copied all the typescript folder However, my nav bar still appears to be like this <a href="<a href="<a href="https://imgur.com/RvFV19y""" rel="nofollow">https://imgur.com/RvFV19y""</a>; rel="nofollow"><a href="https://imgur.com/RvFV19y"</a>" rel="nofollow">https://imgur.com/RvFV19y"</a></a>;; rel="nofollow"><a href="<a href="https://imgur.com/RvFV19y</a>"" rel="nofollow">https://imgur.com/RvFV19y</a>"</a>; rel="nofollow"><a href="https://imgur.com/RvFV19y</a></a>" rel="nofollow">https://imgur.com/RvFV19y</a></a></a>;; I have played around and found that it is probably something to do with some of the scss folders, but I have the entire scss folder in my project already. Would really appreciate if you could shed some bit of light for me and I will try again. At the mean time I am still exploring. EDIT: I just found the issue. It's on my angular-cli.json where I needed to include the styles. Unfortunately after I included the styles...It messed up my entire application... Guess I won't be able to use it... Wish I found this theme earlier and bought the pro version...Damian Gemza staff commented 7 years ago
Did you provided address to your stylesheets in .angular-cli.json file?Alex Sim commented 7 years ago
Thank you Damian! As you were replying I was adding it. It worked for my header! I was so happy! Unfortunately it also messed up a lot some of my page's styling... Hahaha...
