Topic: Design platform (figma, sketch, adobe XD…)
Hi! We are going to work with MD Boostrap 5 Pro with Angular in our next project. We have several questions in terms of design:
- Design platform: In which design platform (figma, sketch, adobe XD…) are you designing the library/design system for MDboostrap?
- Standard design system: which design system (library) are you taking as a reference? We understand, MD stands for Material Design, if that’s correct, which version are we supposed to use as a starting point? Could you please share the file?
- Ad-hoc design systems: If not, is there any ad-hoc design system your team (MDboostrap) is working on? If any, could you please upload or share it with the community?

Hello.
We always design our components directly in the code and we encourage our users to do so as it speeds up the process.
Our design system has evolved from the standard Material Design to our own system called Material Minimal.
You can find its guidelines here: https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/standard/getting-started/material-minimal/
Also, many aspects of our design system (like spacing, sizing, typography, etc.) are defined by Bootstrap's utilities. You can see their detailed guidelines on specific documentation pages.
