Topic: Date control shows illegal date format on initial date value
Im using the date picker and all works just fine. If the default value is empty. If there's a date, it comes up with an additional "-" in the date and if I click to change, default date is year -1. I tried all possible combinations of the dateFormat in my options and none seems to work, currently using no setting at all. The default value is a date coming from an api source, defined as as Date in the data model and I tried to fool it to use a string instead and didn't work neither. This is how it looks like on 1 April this year: 2019-04-0-1 If I edit the field using the picker, it works perfect and saves nicely too. I don't know which npm packages are involved on this and if you direct me I can send over the parts relevant.

Please provide the html and ts code you use to render the date picker component. Do you use version 7.5.0?
