Topic: Can I add my own fields to mdb-calendar?
Miguel Ángel Callejas Reséndiz asked 6 years ago
Hello!!!!!
Ask maybe something silly, I am something new in angular and mdb.
To the mdb-calendar plugin I can add my own fields, now I see that in the demo they come; event, start, term and status, can I add the ones that I need?
and if it is possible it is possible to fill some with listbox?
Is there more documentation apart from this?
https://mdbootstrap.com/plugins/angular/full-calendar/
PS: I'm a MDB PRO user and I already bought the mdb-calendar plugin :) :) :)

Hello,
Unfortunately you can't add new properties to the event object. Which fields would you like to add there and what they would be used for? Could you provide more details to the question about listbox?
This is the full documentation for this component (you can go to API tab at the top of the page for more information). If you think there is something that we should add, please let us know.
According to our system you use free version. If you are MDB Angular Pro user, please provide us a number of your order or registered email, so we can fix that. You can send it to a.idzikowski@mdbootstrap.com.

How about, I sent you an email clarifying the points of my original question, although it would be good to stay in the forum in case someone has the same questions you can consult the question hehe ...
Clarifying the points a bit ...
1.- I would like to add 2 new "Official" and "Department" fields, since for my project they are fundamental. If it is not possible, I imagine that there will be a way to modify the source code: /
2.- The subject of the list box is the reason why I want to take the field "Department and official" from our database (MongoDB).
3.- This is our registered mail that contains the purchases rsierra@mticonsultoria.com

As I mentioned before - unfortunately, it's not possible to edit event parameters. The parameters passed to the event object are processed by the internal code of the component and I'm afraid we won't be able to add logic for custom options.
Thank you for the confirmation of the order.
